The Hope Foundation
The Hope Foundation is an emerging 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving heritage, celebrating history, and strengthening communities through opportunity and empowerment.
We believe every person has the potential to make a meaningful difference. Our work connects the preservation of our shared past with the promise of a brighter future—and makes giving back an experience that brings people together.

History lives in personal memories, family photographs, newspaper clippings, recordings, letters, tickets, and artifacts. The Hope Foundation is working to document and preserve material connected with important chapters of Maine history for research, education, public benefit, and posterity.
Our developing Elvis in Maine archive focuses on Elvis Presley’s May 24, 1977 Augusta Civic Center concert—his only Maine performance—and the lasting charitable and cultural legacy it inspired.

Featured charitable initiative
On May 23–24, 2027, the Hope Foundation plans to bring performers, families, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and community organizations together at the Augusta Civic Center for a two-day celebration of talent, courage, Maine history, and charitable service.
Every contestant deserves a chance to be seen, heard, encouraged, and treated as though their moment matters—because it does. The event is designed to raise funds for worthy nonprofit and community causes while creating memories that can last a lifetime.
